A stunning moment of symmetry is caught between these two handsome, captive wolves, on a snowy day in the Highlands. Danny Strong wildlife cameraman and ecologist was lucky enough to spend time observing these lovely creatures. The card has been given some extra seasonal magic with a pretty illustrated border of pine forests. The still is from our award winning rewilding documentary The Bough Breaks, which highlights the loss of many iconic creatures like these, once native species to the Highlands. Due to persecution and loss of habitat these missing predators have thrown biodiversity off balance in many parts of the world, including Scotland. The film, which is currently being screened throughout the UK, is now available to licence from distributors, Good Docs (USA).
